LEADERSHIP MIAMI COUNTY
Leadership Miami County was created to provide development of leadership for servant leaders in our community. The program is designed to:
Introduce, promote, and build upon leadership skills.
Develop awareness of the issues facing our local community.
Encourage enthusiastic commitment to community service.

Participants will begin the training process with a day long orientation retreat followed by 7 three-hour sessions. The program runs from October to April each year. A graduation celebration will be conducted at the end of the sessions.

Characteristics of Leadership Miami County Graduates are:
They are doers, not observers
They see value in our community,
They realize Miami County is not perfect and there is always room for enhancement and improvement of resources,
They are risk-takers
They plan on adding value to the community by becoming servant leaders,
And they will empower others to do the same

THE SELECTION
The Leadership Board of Directors strives to convene a unique group of potential leaders that are reflective of our community. Participants for Leadership Miami County are chosen through an application process. They are selected on the basis of their leadership potential, demonstrated interest and commitment to serving the communtiy. The maximum class size is twenty-five and is open to all who either live or work in Miami County. A commitment of regular attendance is requested.

TUITION
The tuition fee for Leadership Miami County is $200 per student. Individuals may pay for themselves, have their business or orgnaization sponsor them, or apply for a partial scholarship.

Leadership Miami County, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 Not-For Profit organization. All donations made to the organization are tax deductible.
